Data Entry For Our Database Upgrade People Needed: 1     Level of Difficulty: 3+

Task Description: TRAC uses a custom database to keep track of the patients we take in. It has thousands of records in it .  The job of entering a patient record needs to be simplified, so we are rebuilding the user interface. This involves building a table of species codes and species names which  are currently being entered by hand, which is slow and prone to errors. The new table will automate the process. We need someone who can copy from a book and type it into the database. There will be hundreds of codes and names. This job can be done at home. The database table can be emailed to you and emailed back. We will send it on with the first few records filled in as a guide. This is a dumb stupid job that needs doing absolutely right.

Personal Gear Required: Computer running Windows.

Skills Required: Accurate typing, innate resistence to boredom.

Level of Difficulty:  3+, needs to be done right.

Time Requirements: Can be done at home at your leisure. Once begun, we'll need it in about 2 weeks. That will give us time to rebuild the front end (user interface).
